Figuring out where to start on building a new home can be overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be. We’ve laid out a step by step process of how to get started with us!
1. Financing
We don’t offer in house financing. So you’ll want to be pre-approved for a loan first if you’re going that route.
2. Floor plan
The first thing we need to provide a firm bid is a full set of plans. There are a lot of great ideas and pictures of house layouts out there on Pinterest now, but to give an accurate estimate, we need a floor plan with everything (elevations, dimensions, electrical, etc.). We also offer some in-house floor plans that can be built as drawn or modified as needed. Reach out to us if you need help getting started on a custom set of plans!
3. We want to get to know you!
We want to meet with you and figure out exactly what you’re wanting in your home (inside and out). We will have you fill out a spec sheet so we can get an idea of what kind of finishes you’re wanting throughout the house.
4. Estimate
After speaking with you and going over your spec sheet, we’ll provide a detailed bid for your home. This process could take 2+ weeks.
5. Let’s go!
After reviewing your bid, if you’re satisfied with everything, we will meet again to go over and sign the contract! After that, we’re ready to get started!
6. Build process
The build process typically takes 6-9 months, depending on the size of the job, weather conditions, and materials availability.
7. Need design help???
We have an in-house designer that will go with you and help pick out all of your selections.
