We specialize in building custom homes and barndominiums(Custom Metal Homes) west of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. We want everyone to not only enjoy their new home, but enjoy the process along the way.
MattLock Custom Homes was started by Matt and Kendall Loughrey in 2019. Matt is from Weatherford and Kendall is from Aledo, and they now live in Peaster with their three kids (Kase, Kenna, and Holt).
Matt studied Construction Management at Texas State and has always had a passion for building. He started building custom barndominiums in 2017 with his custom metal building business, MattLock Contractors. He loved building the barndominium homes so much he branched out into conventional custom homes as well.
Kendall studied PR and Advertising and minored in business and Spanish at Texas Tech University. She handles all of the behind the scenes business aspects of the business.
